The Rested Dashboard add-on runs in-game and keeps track of every character you log in with. It is useful on its own, and it is the foundation for everything else.

Snapshots, not live monitoring. Data updates when you play and sync. While WoW is closed, rested XP is estimated from your last snapshot; inventory and gold change only when fresh data arrives.

Rest is a resource. Treat it like one.
A popular Classic levelling strategy: spread your time over several characters and let each one recover while you play another.

Prepare several characters.
Many players keep around nine in rotation, so there is always someone ready.

Let them rest.
In an inn or a capital city, rested XP builds up to a reserve of 150% of a level. Filling it takes roughly 10 days.

Play the one that is ready.
While the reserve lasts, eligible kills earn bonus XP, roughly double. Quests and other sources are not boosted.

Send it back to rest.
When the reserve is spent, park that character in an inn or capital city and let it recover.

Rotate, and repeat.
Pick up the next character that has recovered. Rested Dashboard shows who that is, and when the rest will be full.

A full reserve covers roughly 1.5 levels' worth of base kill XP with the bonus. It does not make all levelling exactly twice as fast. Offline rested progress is an estimate.

When another character already holds something useful, the planner points it out and tells you what to mail. You still send it yourself.

Honest by design
Estimates are labelled as estimates.
Rested XP is estimated between snapshots. Gold and inventory only update when fresh data is synced. The dashboard shows when each character was last seen, rather than pretending to watch the game live.

What is Rested Dashboard?
Rested Dashboard starts with a free World of Warcraft add-on that tracks your characters in-game. The optional paid companion takes that data beyond the game: a desktop app first, with secure account sync and more platforms planned.
Is the add-on free?
Yes. The in-game add-on, including the Smart Planner, is free and useful on its own. The companion and account sync are the optional paid part. The add-on download link is coming soon.
Which game versions does the add-on support?
Classic Era and Classic Hardcore are supported. WoW Forever and WoW Forever Hardcore are coming soon.
Which platforms are available?
The companion launches on Windows first. macOS is coming soon, while iOS, Android and web access are planned as read-only ways to view your synced roster. None of those are released yet and timelines are not final.
Does it track my characters while WoW is closed?
Not live. The add-on records a snapshot while you play and the companion syncs it. Between snapshots, rested XP is estimated; inventory and gold only change when you next play and sync.
How does rested XP work?
Characters resting in an inn or capital city build a rested reserve of up to 150% of a level. While it lasts, eligible kill XP earns a bonus, roughly double. Filling it completely takes around 10 days under standard Classic rules.
How do the plans work?
Plans are the same companion licence with a different duration: monthly, 6 months, yearly or lifetime. There are no feature tiers. Prices on this site are provisional until launch.
What does the Discord supporter role include?
Supporters get a role in the community Discord and can suggest future features. Suggestions are always welcome, but this does not guarantee priority support or that any request is built.
